How we approach your merchant’s placement
Have a collections — debit-only routes merchant your current providers cannot place? Centurion helps agents and ISOs assess the business, identify a suitable underwriting route, and prepare the file. A prior decline is a reason to investigate the cause, not a promise of a different outcome.
Collection agencies need to show the debt types, ownership of the debt, authority to collect, customer authorization, and how collected funds move to clients.
Roadblocks to resolve before submitting the file
Prohibited debt types, debt purchase/resale, licensing, and attempts to use credit cards on debit-only routes can prevent placement.
Share the previous decline reason, current processor, proposed volume, average ticket, and any unresolved compliance issue. We discuss provider fit before presenting a file as ready for underwriting.
Provider-specific restrictions and review conditions
Saved Maverick collections routes are debit-only and exclude buying/selling debt and payday-loan collections. KURV requires prior bank approval and collection documentation.
Eligibility in one provider’s matrix does not establish eligibility with another. Rules, products, transaction channels, and applicable law must be confirmed for the individual merchant. No approval, rate, reserve level, or funding timetable is guaranteed.
What Underwriters Typically Look For
Prepare these category-specific materials alongside formation, ownership, banking, website, and processing-history documents. Do not send sensitive documents through an initial public enquiry.
Documentation requirements vary by processing partner and business model. This list is a general guide, not a universal checklist.
